Painter and sculptor Jerry Wray talks about a career in art at Bossier Arts Council on Fri, Oct 5, 6:30 pm

West Edge Artists Co-op's Danielle Reans says, "Each month we spend an evening highlighting artists of various professions in our arts community. Fri, Oct 5, we’re honored to bring you the talented Mrs. Jerry Wray. Her distinguished career spans over sixty years and her work has been featured in galleries and museums both nationally and internationally. Please join us for this rare chance to hear Jerry discuss her life and career.

There will be time to mingle and network as well as a formal presentation by Jerry, showcasing her work."

Gathering begins at 5:30 pm, Jerry's talk at 6:30 pm.

The painting above, "Chinese Red," comes from a series Jerry painted at Lake Bistineau the summer of 2007.
