Centenary College's Escaped Images dancers and members of Centenary’s Juggling Club as well as the Centenary Jazz Band, led by Dr. Doug Rust, will be featured in the music department's annual Kollege Kapers music variety show at 8 p.m. Fri, Ap 13 and 2 p.m. Sat, Ap 14, at Marjorie Lyons Playhouse, says pianist Rust.

Dance Professor Ginger Folmer’s dance studio will choreograph and perform. Music Dean Gale Odom’s Opera Workshop singers will also perform. Student singers to be featured are Amanda Geneux, Heather Nicolls, Travonte Thomas, Lily Thompson, Shelly Walker and Allyson Wilson.

The variety show holds a long tradition at Centenary College that has enjoyed restoration in recent years. The original Kollege Kapers toured North Louisiana and East Texas during the 1930s and 1940s. The show has a jazz theme and is known for its lively audience participation.

Admission is free and open to the public.
