Offbeat Magazine, the Big Easy chronicle of musical culture, says, "Sunday, Emeril’s Delmonico will offer its first Easter Brunch since the restaurant reopened last fall from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The menu will include appetizer selections of duck confit and wild mushroom strudel and Emeril’s New Orleans-style barbecued shrimp with baked grits, as well as entrees that include foie gras waffle with Cognac-maple syrup, and pecan butter and fried oyster and avocado panini with tomato jam. The menu also features Delmonico’s namesake dry-aged prime beef selections including New York strip, filet and bone-in rib eye. For reservations, call 504-525-4837."

Also in OffBeat: Mr. B's Bistro, closed since Katrina, will re-open the weekend of French Quarter Fest.

Nothing like details from a Crescent City menu to make the rabbit's nose twitch.

Everyone knows bout JazzFest, last weekend Ap, first weekend o' May.

But the French Quarter Fest is also a mojito. More than 150 musical performances - all free - on fifteen stages throughout the French Quarter over a three-day weekend. Graze the "World's Largest Jazz Brunch," featuring renowned area restaurants.
