Marc Broussard to take off his coat and shoes, slowly, leaving his hat on at Gold Dome Fri, Ap 13; watch out, OK?

Rock-folk-blues musician Marc Broussard comes to Shreveport Fri, Ap 13, to perform at Centenary College’s Gold Dome.

A local favorite, says Barrett McGee, singer Broussard hails from Carencro, a town near Lafayette, La. Thick-voiced Broussard describes his style as eclectic and cites influences ranging from Stevie Wonder to Johnny Allan to Dave Matthews. Broussard was featured at the Red River Revel 05 and is currently touring the US and Caribbean.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and Broussard performs at 8 p.m. Opening for him will be musician Tristan Prettyman. Tickets are available at the door or in advance at centenarytickets.com or 318-869-5117.
