Just some thoughts and questions. This is a great idea and how awesome to learn from Neil Johnson BUT my thinking is by the time one reaches the SRAC "Juried Roster Artist" (JRA) status doesn't one know how to photograph work since submitting photos/slides of work is part of the process?

Wouldn't up and coming artists get more out of a workshop like this?

Or is this one of the "perks" of being a SRAC JRA and another reason to go through the process to become a SRAC JRA?

The Friday session for Neil Johnson's workshop has been changed to Wednesday April 2 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm, says Wendy Benscoter.

Location: NJ Photo studio, 1301 Louisiana Avenue.

Bring your camera. If you don’t have one, come anyway.

Neil is going to show you how to make your art look in good in a photo as it does in person.
You will learn lighting and background tricks and tips.
You’ll see how the professionals work and you’ll learn what you
can use instead of all the expensive equipment.

But YOU have to call and sign up for the class!!

$20 fee made payable to LANO (Louisiana Assoc. for Nonprofit Organizations)
Call Vickie Marshall at SRAC 673-6500 and reserve your space TODAY!
