Shreveport Chamber Singers concert Tues, May 2, Hurley / Anderson, Centenary College

The Shreveport Chamber Singers will perform a spring concert Tuesday, May 3, in Anderson Auditorium, Hurley Music Building, at Centenary College at 7:30 p.m. The conductor will be Centenary's own William Parsons.

Among the selections to be presented:
Sure on this Shining Night-Samuel Barber
The Eyes of All Wait Upon Thee-Jean Berger
Alleluia-Randall Thompson
Gloria from "The Masque of Angels"-Dominick Argento
Music When Soft Voices Die-William Parsons (yes, composer is our conductor)

This community-based choir has been performing for Shreveport audiences for nearly 20 years, says Diane Woodward, member of the choir.
