Slow food-style soup's on @ Artspace Shreveport on Tues, Nov 17, 6:30 pm

Someone's In The Soup Kitchen, announces Bonne' Summers of Artspace, on Tues, Nov 17th, 6:30 pm. The event commemorates the 80th Anniversary of the Great Depression / New Deal Era in North Louisiana.

Join five celebrity chefs and the NW Louisiana Slow Food Group
as they create a culinary soup kitchen throughout artspace:

Chef Robert Franklin of Shreveport Club
Chef Dave Bridges, Private Chef
Chef Eddie Mars of The Petroleum Club
Chef Sydney Bell of café @ artspace
Chef Giuseppe Brucia of Giuseppe's Ristorante.

The zupas include -
- Louisiana Harvest Blend with Fire Roasted Quail
- Charred Carrot & Red Pepper Bisque with Grilled Fontina &
Basil Panninis,
- Light Velluta of Shitake Mushroom with Salmon Ravioli

Each Soup Station will also serve slices of a variety of home baked breads, wine, and dessert.

While dining, patrons will tour the Depression exhibition and hear a performance by Jeannine Pasini Beakman called "Voices of Witness"; a 20 minute Storytelling tribute to the People, Places and Events of the Great Depression and the New Deal Era in North Louisiana.
