Dia de los Muertos sessions on papel picado, papier mache and mask making on 3 Saturdays

Your death? The colorful version of it? Borrowing from the Aztec and Mestizos landscape the Mexicans dance upon the interred bones of the departed. We're talking about the superbly therapeutic Dia de los Muertos.

Herein, a Mexican way of satirizing death:

Sessions at Artspace on Sat, Sept 15 and Sun, Sept 16:
Papel Picado workshop with artist Kathleen Trenchard from San Antonio. Create, cut and take home a gorgeous intricate tissue paper design! $35 per person. Includes all supplies and materials!

Create a festive papier mâché work of art to take with you in this
2 day workshop with Papier Mâché artist Pilar Castrejon.
Workshop fees include all supplies and materials @ $35 per person.

Sat, Sept 22:

Master Mask Maker, Zarco Guerrerro, heads this workshop to make
