Asian Spring Fest in Municipal Park Plaza from 10:30 to 5 pm Sat, Ap 5: dance, music, comedy, lunch

The Aseana Foundation is holding the Asian Spring Festival on
Sat, April 5, from 10:30 am – 5: 00 pm at the Municipal Plaza Park, Asian Garden, in Downtown Shreveport. This will be a celebration of the different cultures of a growing Asian community in the city of Shreveport, says Shobha Reddy.

In the day-long celebration visitors will find dance performances, yoga instruction, Tai chi, origami, Kim chi making demonstration, fencing, face painting.

Also included is Ballet dance performance by Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet, Belly dance by LSU School and music by Suzuki music school.
In addition to all these activities there will be an art exhibit and by local artists; Paintings can be purchased at the exhibit.

Hamburgers / French fries will be sold by W.H. Booth Lodge #380.
