Shreveport's Fencing on Fairfield: "Gladiator!"

Fencing on Fairfield on a Saturday at noon: girls (l.) vs. the boys in a melee called "gladiator." Fencing master Andy Shaw and coach Terry Gamble create a cinematic experience on Fairfield Avenue, near I-20, Shreveport.

Did you put the camera on top of a broom stick to take this shot?

Lol: thanks for asking. It's a perceptive question.

I like unorthodox POV. So I stood on a high stool, extended my arms high overhead and braced the camera against a pipe running near the ceiling.

Since you're into photography, may I ask that you email me a sample or two of your work?

so sorry about the casualty on the boys' side. was he buried out back under a pile of oyster shells or simply dumped from the I-20 bridge nearby onto a passing turnip truck headed to Texas?
