Laura Crawford is a violinist, violin teacher and driving force behind the Centenary Suzuki School in Shreveport. She and husband Ed and the Suzuki parent team - the indefatigable Nita Cook among them - helped fill the Civic Theater in December with the "Home for the Holidays" Shreveport Symphony Orchestra concert. Accompanying the orchestra was a phalanx - some 140 - of proficient Suzuki students.
