C. Mark Burt works in textured, detailed pen-and-ink drawings and oil paintings. His cosmos is influenced by Lee Baxter Davis, one of his art professors from Texas A&M at Commerce. Davis originated a school of art called The Lizard Cult in the 1970s.
In May Burt was included in a Lizard Cult show at the Clementine Gallery, NYC.
Burt will present an evening of discussion and display of his art - he calls it Bowl of Nuts - at Bossier Arts Council on Fri, Feb 22, 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Doors open at 5:30.
