TNT: Explore Shreveport's renewal frontier, 600 & 700 blocks of Texas St on Th, Mar 21, 5 to 8 pm

Newly-constructed spaces in the 600 and 700 blocks of Texas Street are keeping Shreveport's downtown vibe growing.

The DDA and SRAC present a Thurs Trolley Tour of open houses on Texas Street on Th, Mar 21, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Stores, venues and businesses will open their doors to show how what’s
old is ‘new (and trendy) again!’

- Artspace in-house expansion – alongside two exhibits: Southern Dialogues, photos by New Orleanians Addison and Yerger and Critical Mass, works by 82 regional artists.
- Remodel jobs at 710, 711 and 712 Texas
St include:
- Joseph Guin’s hip and trendy salon.
- Kevin Bryan's high-ceilinged architectural design offices.
- Tipitina’s Music Foundation will have music, “The Begging for Its,” throughout the evening.
- Brenda Nelson of 4J’s Java and More will serve samples of coffee and pastries.
- Shreveport Bar Association office will welcome with pralines.
- ‘Upscale and urban’ look of the Last Supper Dining Club at 601 Texas.
