Three brilliant young pianists vie for fame in the Wideman International Competition in Shreveport Symphony Orchestra concert on Sat, Feb 25, 7:30 pm

Go for the Gold is the title of the SSO concert on Sat, Feb 25, at 7:30 PM,
Riverview Theatre.

David In-Jae Cho, conductor, will present the finalists in the Nena Plant Wideman Piano Competition:
- Yejin Noh – RACHMANINOFF: Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 18
- XiXi Zhou – PROKOFIEV: Piano Concerto No. 2 in G minor, Op. 16
- Yue Chu – RACHMANINOFF: Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor, Op. 30

Exciting camera work will bring the audience into the action as up-close images of the musicians are projected on the walls, says Lois Robinson.

A free ‘Inside the Music’ pre-concert conversation takes place at 6:30 PM in the Riverview Theatre.
