David Forshee, sound designer, will speak about the importance of quality sound in filmmaking and will give a virtual tour of his self-built sound studio located in the Highland Historic District at SIFA this week, says Chris Lyon.
Shreveport filmmakers will gather at the Shreveport-Bossier CoHabitat at 610 Commerce Street Wed, Aug 25, to share information about local film productions and continue growing the film community.
“After the success of the meeting in July we really saw the need for this type of social opportunity to grow,” said Chris Lyon, SIFA‟s founder, “We are now committing to monthly meetings with brainstorming sessions, open social mixing, calls for work on upcoming projects, and special guests at each event.”
