6:15 p.m. Author Robert K Musil on public health and sustainability in the local and global community. Also expected on the panel: Paula Hickman, Jeff Everson, Dara Sanders, Loren Demerath.

Musil served as the CEO of Physicians for Social Responsibility from 1992 to 2006. Currently he is at the School of Public Affairs at American University. He also teaches in the Nuclear Studies Institute of the School of International Service.

Musil is the author of Hope for a Heated Planet: How Americans are Fighting Global Warming and Building a Better future.

Musil is the Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow at Centenary College.
