Papa Mali - Malcolm Welbourne - left Shreveport with his band, the Killer Bees and spent years residing in Austin and New Orleans. Meanwhile he released Papa Mali albums and eventually put the wood together with Bill Kreutzman in his current touring band, 7 Walkers.
Mali is in Shreveport for a time to whip up the game at Tipitina's Office Co-op on Texas St.
Bears says, :Kitchen is open,,,private parties avail,,pig roasters for rent or whole pigs catered!"
