Dolby Laboratories and Moonbot Studios have created an homage to the history of storytelling - especially inasmuch as sound is the fount of the magic - in a 2:39 movie called "Silent."

Morris Lessmore and The Kid are on a journey, one with a number of startling twists. It is charming and over the top.

"Silent" is followed by a well-edited Behind the Scenes film in which Bots William Joyce, Brandon Oldenburg, Limbert Fabian and composer John Hunter talk about the production.

Sound designer for "Silent" was Steve Boedekker. He did the sound for the recent and acclaimed feature, All Is Lost.
