The Live at Five concert series continues tonight (and every Friday through July 8), 5 p.m.-9 p.m. in downtown Shreveport's Red River District with music by Jason Sepulvado. Featuring live music, happy hour drink specials and food vendors, the event is free to attend. Last Friday, Brady Blade and friends (Blade is pictured above with Nick Scallorn) played a scorching set during a scorcher of an afternoon. Despite the heat, the people-watching was fun and frozen margaritas from Nicky's helped out. Pastor Brady Blade, Sr. was in the crowd, watching his son rip it up and nodding approvingly.
It's hot outside, for sure. But if you've had a long week, and you're looking to start the Friday night revelry, Live at Five is a great way to do it. Upcoming acts include Jimmy Wooten (June 17), Maggie Koerner (June 24), New Leaves with Josh Hollis (July 1) and Daniel Smalley and Company (July 8).
