Daniel Ley's 8-piece band was another electric element.
The cast, with talented players such as Brett Stephenson, Kate Lange and Kolby Ledbetter, is deeply talented in dance and voice. Cues, voices and ensemble pieces hit on time and with power.
ACT's hard-working teens offer a blast of in-your-face entertainment with this production of Fame.
Cynthia Whitaker & Lauren Ross have again taken a large cast of young players and gotten capable performances from all. Light design is by Josh Johnson, set design by Paul Stephenson, sound design by Adam Boyd.
If there was an area for continued growth in the performance Sat night it would be in the headset mics - Was Thomas Keyes blasting his mic with over-the-top vocalizing? And in articulation.
