Fairfield Studios has launched the Shreveport-Bossier Best Screenplay Competition, says Clint McCommon.
The Shreveport-Bossier Best Screenplay Competition is an effort to showcase the contributions of the movie and entertainment industry in Shreveport-Bossier with a competition to find the best screenplay. It is to be made into a short film produced by Fairfield Studios and directed by Emmy Award Winner Pruitt Taylor Vince. The judging panel will consist of Pruitt Taylor Vince, Gregory Kallenberg, and Jeffrey Goodman.
Contestants will have until August 31st to submit their screenplay to the SBShortFilms.net website. Winner will be picked by a combination of viewer votes and a celebrity judging panel. The main stipulations of the contest are the all contestants must live within the SB area and the screenplay must represent Shreveport-Bossier in a positive manner.
