Leadbelly, Joe Osborn, BB Davis, Tilman Franks, and more being welcomed to NXNWLA Music Museum on Sat, June 12, 6:30 - 10:30 pm

The Leadbelly Foundation & NXNWLA Music Foundation
present An Intimate Evening with Bugs Henderson & The Shuffle Kings in Shreveport, says Dan Garner.

This fundraiser for the NXNWLA Music Museum will feature dinner catered by Charlie & Rebecca Bush, a Tribute to Leadbelly, the induction of nine legends from the North by Northwest Louisiana region into the NXNWLA Music Museum, a performance by the legendary Bugs Henderson & The Shuffle Kings, and, afterwards, an All Star Jam!

During this first of its kind event, the NXNWLA Music Museum is inducting Leadbelly, Tillman Franks, Stan Lewis, Joe Osborn, B.B. Davis, The Ever Ready Gospel Singers, Frank Page, Larry Ryan, and Maggie Warwick into its Hall of Fame in honor of their contributions to the rich music history of our area.

Tickets are $30, with the proceeds going to benefit the NXNWLA Music Museum, located on the second floor of 516 Texas Street, Shreveport, Louisiana.

Cash bar available for guests age 21 and older with valid photo ID.

The NXNWLA Music Foundation is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to document and preserve the music traditions of North by Northwest Louisiana.

The NXNWLA Music Museum will be an educational resource which will promote the diverse genres of music tradition which have made up this region.
