La Tech students in the Society of Interior Design chapter are presenting an art auction as part of their Holiday Gala. It is a fundraiser, says Natalie Dixon. "We are holding this event to raise money for our local chapter of DART, the Domestic Abuse Resistance Team. This organization helps and houses battered individuals and their children," says Dixon.
"We are asking local artists for art pieces that can be auctioned off in efforts of raising money for the DART. If you or anyone you know would like to offer any type of artwork, it would be greatly appreciated."
The gala is to be held on Dec 1 in Ruston. Dixon has offered to pick up art to be donated by Shreveport artists through Fri, Nov 30.

Dear Sir or Madam:
Louisiana Tech University’s student organization of the American Society of Interior Designers will be hosting the annual Christmas Fundraiser once again this year. Similar to the previous years, we are hosting a Christmas gala.
Our Christmas fundraiser will benefit a local philanthropy, which we support throughout the year. The money raised through this event will be donated to the local Domestic Abuse Resistance Team, most commonly known as D.A.R.T. This money will be raised through an organized art auction and raffle, which will be held at the Christmas gala.
We are asking you to help sponsor this event through your donations. If you feel as though you can support this cause, a donation of any type, no matter the size, would be greatly appreciated.
If you have any questions, please contact Blake Erskin our fundraiser chair at (318)791-6343 or Lindsey Craig our president at (318)243-4278 or Natalie Dixon our public relations manager at Njd008@latech.edu or (318) 470-0314. Any donation you do choose to make is tax deductible.
Sincerely,
The Louisiana Tech ASID Student Chapter
