Artisans and artists with items appropriate for the gift side of Deck the Halls may apply to SRAC to place their work on consignment during the holiday art market. "We need more gift items in the under-$50 range," said Steve Ross.
Books, cds, crafts, etc. are eligible. They do not have to be holiday
related.
The most enticing aspect is SRAC policy on the vendor split: artists receive 70% of sales.
artspace at 673-6535 or SRAC at 673-6500.

Or sell on etsy and keep all the money.
Etsy is an online marketplace for buying & selling all things handmade. Their mission is to enable people to make a living making things, and to reconnect makers with buyers.
I know artspace means well but taking 30% (or more there's a space on the app if you want to offer a deeper discount) is tough on artists who are trying to make it.
And then there's that pesky clause of guaranteeing your work for a year. Hey! Even Wal-Mart doesn't do that. What doctor or lawyer in town makes that kind of deal if you do business with them? How's the little artist supposed to make it?
