Award-winning author Chitra Divakaruni will speak in Shreveport via the Mary Jane Malone Lecture Series, says Mary Rounds.
Arranged Marriage, Sister of my Heart and Oleander Girl are also Divakaruni titles. She is an activist on behalf of abused women.
The talk is Th, Nov 7, at 6:30 pm in the PAC at Caddo Magnet HS, 1601 Viking Dr, Shreveport. It is free and the public is encouraged to attend. The author will sign books after her talk and a Q and A.
