OH BOY!!! Can't wait to see Lane Crockett's review... "AT LAST, quality theater returns to Shreveport, after all those pretenders put out such crap for two years!!!" Even if the show sucks, Lane will call it the "best show he has EVER seen." I'm so tired of listening to him profess his undying admiration to such a hateful, egomanical and unoriginal director. Stop kissing ass Lane, and get some of your dignity and credibility back.

You know I have to agree. I'm a regular theater goer and I have enjoyed so much of what I've seen at the community theaters in town. I'm constantly amazed at the amount of talent we have in this town and every time RCR talks about their group they always manage to bring up how they are a notch above it all. It's hard to support what they do when they are so mean spirited about others. I'm just getting really tired of hearing the same thing from them. Enough already.

The only thing that sounds mean spirited to me is the above two comments. I'd be interested in hearing what Trudeau thought of the production.

Thanks for asking, Anon #3. Because of your gracious curiosity I've written a review of the RCR production.

There is one thing that none of us in the theater community disagree on - that is that Busieck and Mcwilliams have done some beautiful and artful work. No-one denies that they are talented and I knew that their latest foray would be wonderful with Ann G at the helm. It is such a shame that such beautiful work comes from such hateful people as Patrick McWilliams and Robert Busieck. Of course, they will say - "the only hate I see is your comment" - but that is expected of two people who have never considered anyone's feelings or future but their own.
