One of the sexier of the world's rambling, ripping violinists, Philippe Quint was born in St Petersburg and made his orchestral debut at age nine, says Wikipededia.
He performs upon the 1708 "Ruby" Antonio Stradivari violin, which is on loan to him through the Stradivari Society. As much a challenge to performing must be seeing to the Strad's security as Quint criss-crosses the world upon metal jets.
