The Generation United to Succeed (GUTS) Youth Leadership Summit will be this Saturday from 10AM-3:30PM at Centenary College's Kilpatrick Auditorium, says Maysa Kaskas. She has joined Summit founder Niha Jain in producing the event.
It's a completely free event geared primarily towards high school students (but other young adults are welcome) that'll include guest speakers ranging from Mayor Cedric Glover to Judge Stewart, a Volunteerism Fair where students may connect and network with local nonprofits and community organizations, free lunch, group leadership-building activities, and the opportunity to meet new people from the Shreveport/Bossier area.
