Techx20 + SMUG + Shreveport .Net User Group + CoHabitat = Demo event June 15!

Tuesday, June 15 from 5-7 pm at CoHabitat (610 Commerce, Shreveport), Techx20, the Shreveport Mac Users Group (SMUG), the Shreveport .Net User Group and CoHabitat are teaming up for a demo event to feature, says John Grindley:

- From SMUG: the new Apple iPad as well as a discussion of the forthcoming iPhone OS 4 update slated for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, second and third-generation iPod touch, and iPad

- From Shreveport .Net User Group: Presenter Casey Watson will demo MonoTouch. Interested in building iPhone applications but don't have the mental bandwidth or time to learn a new programming language? You'll be surprised at how easy MonoTouch is to pick up and how quickly you can get started development and publishing usable applications for today's top mobile platform. In addition to this presentation, Casey will be debuting a new mobile application development product he and his partners have been working on. Everything is currently under NDA, and the June meeting will be the first time this technology is discussed in public!

As always, snacks and beer will be available. Bring a friend!
