As members of Sciport, we're delighted that summer is here and that there'll be robots in the street.

Summer Science Blast Day Camps Begin
Mon, June 2
Themes this year range from robotics to nature, space, and, wizardly, Harry Potter.

Itty Bitty Scientists
Weds at 11 a.m. (June 4, 11, 18, and 25)
Summer Tots program returns. Weds at 11 a.m. through the month of August.

Family Fun Night:
Tinkering Robotics Lab, Fri, June 6
Participate in hands-on, make-it-take-its, crazy contraptions, robotics, gaming competitions, and more with the opening of the new exhibit area, Tinkering Robotics Lab. Cost: $6 Members, $8 Non-Members. RSVP (318) 424-8660.

Opens Sat, June 7
Initiate a chain reaction to propel a marble through a series of obstacles, experiment with aerodynamics with wind tubes, program a robot to excel in a series of challenges, or put your gaming skills to the test. Featuring LEGO® MindstormsTM Robots and Nintendo® WiiTM with additional exhibits and activities designed by Sci-Port.

Take an exhilarating river-rafting ride down the Colorado River and find out how water conservation is becoming increasingly important.

Father's Day: BIG TOYS, BIG TOOLS
Sat & Sun, June 14 and 15
Celebrate Dad's day with heavy machinery featuring an aerial fire truck, a crane, a Hummer, a free trolley ride, and a demonstration of the Jaws of Life from the Shreveport Fire Department. Fathers get in free both days with purchase of a child's admission.
