Fresh paintings from award-winning painter Dennis O Bryant are being hung at Columbia Cafe, says Matthew Linn. There will be a party in honor of O Bryant's show Sunday, Aug 7, from 5 to 7 pm.
Originally a Shreveporter, O Bryant lives in not-too-distant exile: Marshall, TX. One of his paintings and a sculpture were recently juried into a Longview Museum of Fine Art exhibit.
He calls the show cada otra, and explains "cada otra in espanol is 'each another.' But it could be translated 'every other (one).'"
